Called and Covered is a faith-centered memoir about immigration, family, identity, belonging, perseverance, delay, purpose, and divine provision.

At six years old, Chimdi Mfebe left Nigeria for America. For the next 22 years, the country she called home would not legally call her its own.

Her journey through cultural displacement, undocumented status, family sacrifice, nursing school, marriage, motherhood, grief, and faith became a testimony of what happens when circumstances say one thing but God has already spoken something greater.
